Are you wasting time typing in your index manually?
You are cordially invited to the automatic indexing party as an online self-paced course! I’ll do my very best to make it as easy as possible to learn everything about creating and using the auto-indexing feature in Eclipse. This has been probably the most requested class I’ve gotten over the years, so this is your chance to join in the fun! We will go over each part in detail and break it down into bite-size lessons. You will learn advanced form field options, creating variables, paragraph styles, creating a bird cage for the case caption, how to set up tab stops, as well as how to include indexing secret code in your block files to completely automate the process. We will start out with a prebuilt set of Texas files, learn how to use those, and then we will go over how to modify them and then create our own files from scratch. If you’ve been using copy and paste or manually typing in your index pages, you are going to LOVE the results and the ease of having this super tedious task done automatically at the end of your job. Texas reporters, I will submit this class to JBCC, and I expect that the part where we are going over the Texas files will satisfy the requirement for 2.5 hours of ethics/Texas rules. It has been approved as such in the past. This course is a little bit too tedious to do live over Zoom. I don't know who thought that would be a good idea. But I will record the auto-indexing information in small segments, and then we will have a one-hour live session together to answer any questions or clarify anything that you might need help with. How does that sound? The class will most likely be five to six hours rather than ten as originally expected when it was going to be recorded live.
